USE academy: DENNIS Design Center

USE academy presents DENNIS Design Center
DENNIS Design Center is a pop-up design platform that creates usable designs, inspired by hyper-local demand and site-specific issues. By mixing design, craftsmanship and urban studies, DENNIS challenges accustomed notions and perspectives on city life and neighborhoods.
DENNIS Design Center has made projects in Copenhagen, Milan, Basel, Gotland, Hong Kong and Norwich. The platform started in 2011 and is a collaboration between Bureau Detours and USE.
Alexander Muchenberger and Ulla Aude from DENNIS Design Center will show how design, craftsmanship and urban studies can be transformed into usable designs, inspired by local demand and site-specific issues.
After the talk, DENNIS Design Center invites you to discuss city planning with cake!
Join the DENNIS Crazy Cake workshop where we will build a future version of Aarhus in cake. The focus of the workshop will be on how to create more city centrers in Aarhus. Let your imagination run free: create streets with crackers, build City Hall with marshmallows and fill the lake with whipped cream.
USE academy is supported by Aarhus 2017 - European Capital of Culture
